Dr. Ashish Sahai is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, who specializes in spinal surgery. Dr. Sahai has been practicing in Broward and Palm Beach County over the past fifteen years at the highest level. He is considered a leader in the spinal surgery field, thanks to his contributions with improved spine surgery techniques.

Dr. Sahai obtained his Medical Degree in the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He then completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, where he also served as a chief resident at the New England Baptist Hospital. Then, he went on to complete a spine fellowship at the Stanford University Combined Spine Fellowship, becoming a Clinical Assistant Professor and providing coverage for the VA Medical Center Palo Alto.

An already renowned spine surgeon in South Florida, Dr. Sahai is one of the few spinal surgeons able to perform a wide-range of procedures ranging from outpatient surgery to complex revision and scoliosis surgery. Due to his expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery, Dr. Sahai is a sought-after guest speaker. He has been invited to speak at conferences both nationally and internationally.

Most recently, Dr. Sahai was recognized as one of 2024 America’s Best Spine Surgeons in the First Annual ranking by Newsweek and Statista. This comprehensive ranking that considered thousands of spine surgeons across the nation, selected only the top 150, representing the states with the highest numbers of practicing physicians. Dr. Sahai’s inclusion in this elite group is a testament to his unwavering commitment to patient care and surgical excellence.

Dr. Sahai founded Spine & Orthopedic Center in 2008 when he moved to Florida. He was recruited to the area by local Hospitals to build their expertise in spinal care. His practice has now grown to 4 locations spanning Palm Beach and Broward County, with 8 specialists, who provide comprehensive spinal, orthopedic and pain management care.
